Amazon is selling the Apple’s M2-powered Mac Mini with an expanded configuration and 512GB storage for $689.99. This is a significant savings of $110, making it an easy recommendation to anyone looking for a basic desktop computer for their home. Although the M2 Mac Mini is similar to other Mac Minis it has the same processor as the 13-inch MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. You get two Thunderbolt 4/USB-C ports like the MacBook Pro, but the Mini has two USB-A ports and an Ethernet port. Oh, and it’s a lot cheaper. The base configuration has the same 8-core CPU and 10-core GPU, but the Mini’s 512GB storage makes it easier to use than external storage.
Remember to bring your own monitor, keyboard, mouse, and mouse. This deal is great if you have them already, or you can use the money to purchase those peripherals.
For $599, the updated Mac Mini 2023 is M2-powered and features an eight-core CPU, 10-core graphics processor, 8GB RAM, and 256GB SSD. You can also get the Mini with the M2 Pro chip (16GB RAM, 512GB SSD and more robust port selection) for $1,299.
If you are looking for an Apple-compatible iPad Pro with cellular connectivity and would like to save some money, Best Buy offers huge clearance prices on the 12.9 inch M1 iPad Pro. The 256GB model comes with Wi-Fi and LTE Cellular for $999.99, the 512GB cellular model is $1,099.99 (500 off), and the 1TB cellular configuration is $1,299.99 (700 off), which is a huge $800 savings.
The M1-powered iPad Pros look very similar to the M2 models. In many ways they are a smarter purchase right now. The 2021 12.9-inch iPad Pro has a Mini LED panel that is just as good as the older model. And the M1 chip is still extremely fast. You are missing a hover feature for Apple Pencil 2, which is very minor. These iPads are a great choice for replacing your laptop, especially with their LTE connectivity.
12.9-inch iPad Pro (2021, LTE)
Apple’s 2021 iPad Pro features its own M1 processor, Thunderbolt and its own Thunderbolt. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro boasts the best display of any tablet.
Prices for 1TB M.2 SSDs are dropping steadily. The 1TB Samsung 980 Pro with a Heatsink is now $86.66, a new low at Amazon. Now, the 1TB Adata XPG S70 blade is dropping to $69.99 (40%) at Best Buy and Amazon.
If you want to increase your PlayStation 5’s storage, the XPG S70 Blade SSD is a fast SSD. It is compatible with the Sony PlayStation 5. Although it doesn’t have a heatsink as robust as the more expensive models, its heat spreader is sufficient to keep temperatures down. You can always get extra security with a heatsink such as this one, which costs $10.99.

The Anker 563, 11-in-1 USB/C hub, is available for $55.99 (24 percent off) at Amazon or directly from Anker. The Anker 563 dock is very versatile, with both a DisplayPort and HDMI connection. It can output up to 4K/60Hz. DisplayPort is not always available on hubs. There are three USB-A ports and two USB-C ports (one for power and data), and three USB. Although none of these ports are faster than 10Gbps, this adapter is a great value and can be used for multiple purposes.
