Apple Inc.’s TV platform is back online after a brief outage that affected thousands of users late Saturday night in the United States, according to Downdetector.com.
Downdetector.com reported that the platform was unavailable for up to 6,000 users during the peak outage.
Apple Support, iCloud and Apple Support users also reported problems late Saturday.
Apple has not responded to requests for comment about the cause of this outage, or whether any other services have been affected as indicated by the Downdetector.
Apple users reported problems with Apple Music streaming last week.
Now, the services are back.
Late on Saturday, users also reported issues with Apple Support and iCloud as well as other Apple products.
Apple did not respond to the Downdetector report that other services had been affected.
Apple users reported problems last week with streaming Apple Music on other platforms. Apple confirmed the issue on its system status webpage.
Apple’s streaming music service was also affected by an outage, according to Downdetector. The problem peaked at 6:07 am and there were 3,392 reports during this time.
According to Downdetector, 98% reported issues with music streaming. 1% had problems accessing and logging into the website.
Apple Pay & Wallet, iTunes Match and Apple Radio were also affected by issues this week. Apple’s status website claims that all of these issues have been resolved.
The issue seems to be resolved, but it is not known what caused the problem in the first instance. According to reports, the outage may not have affected Indian users and was limited to US users.
