While Apple’s new Weather app works well, many people still miss the Dark Sky app. Apple has now added rain alerts. However, you can’t choose whether you want alerts for heavy, medium or light rain. This is especially annoying in countries like England where it rains often. Apple is located in California’s Silicon Valley. It rains very rarely, so Apple’s software developers probably forgot to migrate that important feature from Dark Sky.
Although it is not clear why the Apple Weather app is experiencing recurring problems, users can still use third-party apps such as Carot Weather. This app is a combination of weather forecasting and humor, with ChatGPT integration recently added.
