The latest Apple Watch SE is the best entry-level smartwatch. It currently costs $219 (or $30 off at Amazon ), and it’s available in the 40mm configuration with GPS.
The second-generation Apple Watch supports all watchOS9 features, including medication reminders, Apple’s handy low power mode, and newer Apple Watch features such as Crash Detection and Apple Pay. The Apple Watch Series 8 doesn’t have an always-on display or some of the advanced sensors, but the Apple Watch SE can be purchased for $100 less than its starting price.
Although the new SE for 2022 borrows a few features of the Series 8, such as the same chipset or Crash Detection, it is a subtle upgrade to the previous-gen SE.
Although voice assistants are no longer popular, there is still a lot to be said for a device that allows you to turn on the light using your voice. Amazon’s new Echo Dot is on sale now at Amazon and Target for only $34.99 ($15). The LED-equipped model is also available at $5 less at the same retailers.
Amazon’s fifth-gen Dot, a spherical speaker, is undoubtedly the best. The new model has more sensors and a faster response time. It can also act as an extender Wi-Fi if you are on an Eero network. It’s also capable of producing a remarkable amount of sound considering its 1.73-inch driver. This is a huge benefit for a speaker that costs less than a trip to the movies for two.

Spring is often when we pick up those brazen New Year’s resolutions that were put off when winter started. Surprise, surprise! If you are a fan of running and fitness, the Apple’s Beats Pro are on sale at Woot for $144.95 (around $55 off). They make a great motivator.

These excellent noise-canceling headphones have a new wingtip design that makes them safer than other Beats models. This is great for runners, dog walkers, or anyone trying to avoid an 80-pound dumbbell, or any other runaway dogs at the park.
Beats Fit Pro is our favorite fitness earbuds. They have soft, flexible fins that will stay in your ears even during intense workouts. They have enough bass to keep you going during long runs.
The Joy-Con controllers of Nintendo Switch can be great, but if your hands are large, they can feel a bit cramped. The Hori Pro Attachment Set is now available at Amazon or Best Buy for $59.99 ($20).
This convenient kit pairs Hori’s Split Pad Pro and a wired USB accessory, allowing you use wired headphones while your Nintendo Switch docked. It emulates the Nintendo Switch Pro controller well, so it can function as a regular-sized, comfortable gamepad with customizable paddles and responsive buttons. Although they lack NFC and rumble for Amiibo use, they are still a good Joy-Con alternative. Hori’s new attachment allows them to be used in any way that suits you.
