The best MacBook Air deals

Although the redesigned MacBook Air has arrived, the 2020 model with an M1 CPU and fanless design is still available as the budget option. The M1 Air is a great choice for MacBook buyers who are looking for a budget option. It also has the M2 model, which we recommend.

MacBook Pros M2 and Pro M2
For the moment, the MacBook Pro line has been divided into two segments. The Touch Bar stouts are the M1-powered MacBook Pro 2020 and its 2022 successor with the M2 processor. These devices are identical to the 2020 MacBook Air and have similar designs, save for the fan that allows them run at their peak performance for longer.
It’s best to get rid of the 13-inch M1 MacBook Pro, if possible, and instead opt for the M2 model with its extraordinary battery life. It still has the Touch Bar and the base model has speed issues, but we are seeing occasional discounts on the latest laptops.
The 13-inch M2 MacBook Pro currently has the best price. B&H Photo’s $200 off the 256GB model with 8GB RAM is the best. This brings the price down to $1,299 from $1,099, matching its lowest price ever. The 512GB model is now on sale at Amazon as well as B&H Photos for $150, dropping it down to $1,349. If you’re looking for a Touch Bar-equipped Mac, these are great deals. However, those who do a lot of creative work might be better off spending a bit more on the 14-inch MacBook Pro.
The 13-inch MacBook Pro’s latest version is the last Touch Bar holder. It features two USB-C ports like the M1 MacBook Air. The M2 CPU is now included and it can be configured with up to 24GB of uncompressed memory.
The 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pros are in transition. The M1 Pro and M1 Max models will be replaced by the M2 Pro models. These are mostly a spec-bumped update with the 16 inch M2 Max MacBook Pro. They also boast excellent battery life increases due to the efficiency of new chips. The new generation is great, but we are not seeing any consistent discounts. The base 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M2 Pro was briefly on sale but that was only a temporary deal. The Amazon offers the lowest price on the 512GB model at $1,949.64, and the 1TB model at $2,449.

Similar situation is found on the 16 inch MacBook Pro with M2 Pro space gray. It costs $2,449.99 (50 percent off) at Amazon. This base configuration gives you 512GB storage, 16GB RAM, and a 12-core CPU. It also includes a 19-core GPU. Although it’s still quite expensive, the larger screen makes editing easier in Adobe Premiere timelines and Photoshop more efficient. Let’s hope that bigger deals, like the one we saw recently (which reduced the laptop by $200), will return soon.
The top-of-the-line Mac laptop range, the 16 inch MacBook Pro 2023, remains the largest. The base model includes the M2 Pro 12-core CPU with 19-core GPU, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD storage. You can add a M2 Max processor to make it more powerful.
M1 Pro MacBook Pros
The 2021 MacBook Pros are still fine machines and can be purchased for much less than the 2023 models. The 14-inch base model, which includes the M1 Pro CPU and 512GB storage, is currently on sale at Best Buy for $1,599 (400 off). This is the second-lowest price for the laptop we have seen. It’s a great recommendation for anyone who does creative work on a budget below $2,000. This may be the best option for anyone who is considering an M2 MacBook Air with more storage.
