Vampire Survivors will get a second expansion. It will cost $2, just like the first one. The new DLC, Tides of the Foscari is fantasy-themed and includes eight new characters and 13 weapons. It will be available on April 13th.
Poncle, the developer, is already teasing characters such as a mage or a swordsman and weapons such as a spellbook (named “Eskizzibur”) and weapons like a spellbook. I can’t wait for all of these new additions to be released — I’m sure they will all be amazing in their own unique ways.
It looks great! It’s very large, with lots of different areas. The mysterious Lake Foscari takes up most of the corner, just like the first expansion Legacy the Moonspell. The new map can be viewed here. I won’t embed it because you might prefer to go unspoiled.
Tide of the Foscari will launch on PC, Xbox and mobile within the first day. However, you’ll still need the base game in order to play it. It costs $5, but it is worth it. (If you don’t believe me, trust and the many Steam Deck fans of the game.
Poncle also released a beta version of its new engine for Steam Deck and PC players. Follow the instructions to test it. The game is still playable, even though it’s slowing because of all the absurdity on screen. You can probably just leave the beta alone.
Tides of the Foscari is now set in Lake Foscari. This beautiful forest of mystery contains a lot more species that we have previously seen. To combat the endless waves of beasties, we have new weapons such as the cool SpellString and Flash Arrow. In the new character animation, two characters can now move in a different direction than before. The Tides of the Foscari DLC is available for a very affordable price of PS1.59/$1.99 mobile devices on April 13.
