Google I/O is a good place to announce the Pixel Tablet launch. The Pixel Tablet is expected to launch sometime this year — Google I/O in May feels like a pretty good venue!
In the Instagram video by Saori Masuda, you’ll see a number of Google and Pixel products laid out on a table. These include Pixel Tablets and Pixel Watches as well as different versions Pixel Buds and Pixel phones.
The video does not reveal much new information about the Pixel Tablet, as Google has already shown us what the tablet, and its charging dock look like. The colors displayed are the most important. They include a coral-pink, gray/white, and darker gray. (With what appears to be a white bezel around screen , instead of black). When the tablet is released, we may be able buy it in these colors (and the missing fourth color according to 9to5Google).
9to5Google notes that the Pixel Tablets displayed do not have a privacy button to turn off microphones and cameras, as reported last week.
Below you’ll find some screenshots of the video.
Google did not immediately respond to a comment request. I think it’s likely that the Pixel Tablet will be announced at Google I/O in May . This is especially true since a device which looks suspiciously similar to the Pixel Tablet has recently been certified by the FCC. There could be a number of other devices announced at the show, such as the heavily-leaked Pixel 7A, and the the long-rumored Pixel Fold.
